Carpenter, Joiner and Furniture Maker

Est. 2018

My name is Byron Studley. I am a qualified Carpenter with ten years of experience working on bespoke carpentry and fine joinery projects for private, heritage and listed homes.

My work has included restoring existing heritage features on listed buildings and repairing or remaking doors and windows to suit period properties, in addition to undertaking a number of larger projects such as bespoke oak conservatories and custom gates.

I began my carpentry apprenticeship in 2012. During this time I worked in Dorset on a number of private homes and listed buildings. In 2018 I became a self employed carpenter, where I began working closely alongside an experienced joiner, expanding my skillset and learning the craft of solid wood windows and doors.

Carpentry

I achieve premium quality finish on all household carpentry, including worktop fitment, trim carpentry and built in cabinetry.

Joinery

I take pride in repairing or replacing existing interior or exterior joinery, as well as making doors or windows to customer design and preference. I also create bespoke one-off pieces or larger productions of multiple matching windows and doors.

Furniture

Furniture is my latest step in refining my craft and extending my love of natural wood products. From the initial selection of superior materials to the finished product, I add uniqueness and quality to small and large conversation pieces alike.

A classic conservatory made using European oak with a varnished finish. It features a set of French doors with elegant raised panels, suited perfectly to create a beautiful area for the client to enjoy their garden.

I am currently open for new projects and ideas, I look forward to working alongside you and helping to bring your designs to life.

Custom-made pine panelling and trim to match the existing Victorian staircase. The staircase was adapted to allow me to create the client a downstairs cloakroom and toilet, with additional storage space.
